We were met by Peter waiting for us in the living room once we all filed inside the house. 

He got immediately he spotted us, a bottle of beer in his hand. “How did it go? I…I heard screams before you guys left. I wanted to come out but the kids, well, Jeff and Haven are just something else. But they are both asleep now. The girls too. So,” he took a deep breath. “How’s he?” He was concerned.

“He’s fine… he’s going to live.” Sadie informed, going to hug her husband, getting emotional. “Oh God. I thought we lost him. It would have been terrible. Horrible.”
