“Didn’t you hear the part where I mentioned we were mates?” She arched a brow at me and I gave her a disgusted look.

“Yeah, but he’s going to reject you.” I rolled my eyes in the most disrespectful way possible. “There was no use wasting your time coming here.” I continued in an impassive tone.
