I stood up, feeling my anger rising to the surface. Without thinking, I marched over to him and slapped him hard across the face.

That was the second time I was hitting him and he deserved it. I didn’t feel any remorse about what I had done. All eyes were on me and everywhere went silent.

“Did you just slap me?” Dimitri asked, breaking the silence. His eyes widened in disbelief and I stared at him with disgust.
