Elsie's POV

She didn't understand why she was getting that warm feeling each time her eyes locked with Madriod's. But she was glad to have beaten the hell out of that pervert before Madriod showed up. She tried to banish the thought of Madriod first and go out to seek vampires.

She got all that she needed to carry out her task, ready inside a strap bag and hung it over her neck. She went toward the door and was about to open it when she remembered that if she took the guest house exit, she might run into Madriod.

She turned back around and headed for the room's window....
