I trudged through the dark streets of the city, the faint glint of my bracelet catching the pale moonlight. The night felt endless, and my search for Mia had led me nowhere so far. My frustration simmered under the surface, but I knew I couldn’t afford to let it cloud my thoughts. I had to stay sharp if I wanted to succeed.
