Elsie's pov

Elsie continued to stare at the River in disbelief. "What the hell had happened here?" She asked and moved closer to the water. She wanted to poke her hands into the water but something kept her back from doing so.

"If the water has been contaminated, how am I supposed to see into my crystal?" She asked herself. "And I don't even have the time to start figuring out why the color of this river could be pitch black or doesn't the water recognize my presence?"

"Mother should know why the water is this color. But I can't let mother know that I'm here." She said to herself....
