She couldn't sleep at night. She's looking for a place to borrow money. She considered taking out a cash advance several times, but she was never granted one.
I'm in desperate need of money, big sis. When are you going to send it? Please send as soon as possible because I cannot wait for these projects.
When she read her brother's chat, she was shaken. She could have done it previously if she could only spit money. She, too, could not bear them. As the oldest, it was her responsibility to assist. Is it really a requirement?
She stood up and made herself a glass of milk. She acted carefully, risking waking up her coworkers, who were sound asleep at the time.
She exited the room and walked to the balcony, clutching a mug of milk. It was cold outside, but she didn't mind because she was used to Japan's cold environment.
I'm not sure where I'm going to acquire the money to send.
She savored her milk and sipped it carefully. In the heat, it was still smoldering. She shuts her eyes as the harsh knowledge dawns on her tongue that she will be a slave in another country for the rest of her life because of the so-called responsibility.
She took a deep breath and sighed softly. Her attention was fixed on the man who informed her, 'I like you,' when she opened her eyes. There are numerous types of 'I like you' for her to consider, but she is uninterested. She couldn't care less if she got old alone and virgin.
She saw his smile reflected on her but she just stared at it, no expression on her face. She was still drinking from the mug she was holding.
He motioned, "Can't sleep?"
There is still no response to her. She is able to decipher sign language.
"Problem?" It indicated once more. It gave her a kind smile.
She, on the other hand, continued to drink milk. She turned away from him and gazed up at the sky.
How is he doing? When the face of a man she had no intention of seeing in her dream entered her mind, she shook her head.
"Marie."
She was taken aback. Her gaze was fixed on the man who had stated her name. That was the perfect loudness for no one to wake up to.
"Speak with me." He uses sign language once more. He wanted to talk to her, she could tell by the glint in his eyes.
She took a sip of the remaining milk in the mug before turning to face the man. She made a sign language towards him. "Go to hell!" She entered the building. She avoids speaking to the poor and peasantry.
"HAPPY MORNING!"
When she heard Gheron's vibrant voice behind her, her brows drew together. She's currently inspecting strawberries in the Green House.
"Have you had a good night's sleep, Marie?"
She chose to disregard it. She kept pulling out the dry leaves and tossing them in the trash.
"Did you get out of bed on the wrong side?"
She carried on with her work. She was used to being unconcerned. What important is that she keeps her job. She also planned to speak with Mrs. Ajinomoto during lunch break.
"Are you going to eat lunch here once more?"
She didn't hear anything. She proceeded to another aisle as she continued to remove the dried leaves. It's enjoyable to look after plants because they don't talk or complain. When she becomes upset, she can rip it out and replace it.
"Marie." He called her. He's now following her everywhere she goes, and he has no intention of letting her go. "How come you won't talk to me? Am I stink? What's that noxious odor? Please tell me so that I can—"
She gave him a menacing look and signaled for him to first go to hell. It became silent right away, but only for a few seconds, because it was back to looking like a toothpaste model. The extent to which it smiled at her.
"I really like you!"
She has turned away from it. She examined each plant carefully and discovered that some insects or worms had made their way in.
“Maria! Mrs. Ajinomoto vetsin is calling—” When Judith entered, on the other hand, she was taken aback, and her gaze fell squarely on Gheron.
"Okay." She immediately leave the greenhouse.
BEFORE approaching their Superior's office, she took a big breath. She rehearsed the word nihongo in her head, fearful that she would lose her ability to communicate in Japanese.
"Ohayo gozaimasu." She bows gently as she introduces herself. In English, it's a good morning.
"Koko ni suwaru." Take a seat here. It directed its finger to the chair in front of the glass table. "Hayaku!" Faster!
She swiftly took a seat in the chair that was available. Strictly speaking, their superior is not friendly.
"Here take this."
A white envelope was givern to her, much to her amazement. She paused for a few moments before daring to inquire.
“Sore ga watashi no tanjobipurezentodesu. Sore o tori, anata no toko ni modotte kudasai. Go!" That’s my birthday gift. Take that and go back to your post. Go!
“But—”
"I told you to get back right now! Bring that with you." Her pupils dilated.
She nodded in agreement with what her supervisor stated. Even though she had no idea what was inside, she accepted it. It can either give her termination letter or a coffee ticket from her local coffee shop.
"Arigatou." She bent her head and walked out of the supervisor office gracefully.
She didn't proceed straight to the Green House; instead, she stopped for a moment in a nearby bathroom. She immediately shut the door behind her. She didn't spend any time in inspecting the contents of the envelope, just to be startled.
"500,000 yen?!" She can't believe she had seen a huge sum of money written on the cheque. "Does this represent my separation pay? This is far too large to be given as a birthday present. Also, is this for real?" Instead of happiness, she stroked her brow. Mrs. Ajinomoto's generosity has piqued her interest, and she wants to know why she gave so much.
I'll ask her. This is an excessive amount of money! She dashed out of the bathroom and into the office of their supervisor.
She had just stepped through the doorway when she noticed their Supervisor yelling at a man she recognized: Gheron. The farmer, to be precise. Their Japanese supervisor was enraged as the man bent his head. She bit her lower lip. She was undecided about entering and partaking in its wrath or returning to the Green House.
"I will cancel your contract here if I see you doing nothing again, Gheron!"
She takes a step back. There's no need. She had no intention of provoking their Supervisor's wrath. Instead of asking Mrs. Ajinomoto why, she opted to be grateful and trust that God would care for her family's needs in the Philippines. Because, let's face it, life in a foreign country is difficult.
"Mrs.Ajinomoto Vetsin Magic Sarap chastised him. My baby Gheron is unfortunate."
When she went into the bathroom to take a half bath, this is exactly what she heard from Judith. The day had come to an end, and she now have money. She will also send money to her family in the Philippines tomorrow morning, but not all of it. If her Mother inquired again, she would still have money, even if it was a birthday present.
"Yes, I observed him being summoned by our Team Leader, and our Supervisor stating that she would speak with him. That turned out to be a reprimand. What a shame for my baby."
"Excuse me, but he's my baby."
"There's no way! He belongs to me. He smiled and winked at me earlier, as you saw."
"Are you crazy? You have no right to say that."
What a ruckus! With a shake of her head, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation. What if she revealed that she was the one to whom Gheron stated 'I like you?' They may cry for disparately.
I like you.
As what Gheron said and the smile it always gave her entered her mind, she shook her head. The ability of its lime to tell her that he likes her only a week? She's not fool.
Her age is 30 years old, but it does not show on her face. She always ponytailed and tied her hair up to the back of her head. Her height is tiny, with a slim frame and a white complexion that has led to her being mistaken for a European and a visitor who enjoys harvesting fruit in Japan.
Judith once questioned why she picked fruit harvesting and if she had a pleasing personality to boast about. To put it simply, in Japan... Everyone has a specific job in mind. No one will try to buy her identity with violence or money. She didn't have to undress for those big fishes in the upper echelon, who offered her money and work in exchange.
"WHERE have you gone?"
Gallagher smiled at his pal Magnar and said, "I'm here, moron." It was on the other line, and he didn't use their hologram watch instead. He preferred to use his cellphone.
"What the heck are you doing here?! I can't even find you. Is that woman you met at the bar still catching your eye? I think I recall her name, Aurora. 'Isn't she always dressed in red? All I can say is that you're being duped—"
"Damn, Magnar! I'm currently in Japan. ”
He was intrigued by what he had said. "Fuck Japan? Do you think I'll believe your lies? ”
"I'm on a mission here," he stated emphatically as his hand typed on his laptop's keyboard. He's presently in his office. Not on the staff house.
“Mission? As far as I'm aware, Yx hasn't assigned you any missions in that area. You little asshole, don't try to fool me! I warned you to stay away from Aurora, the fucking lady.”
"You're not helping. That woman irritates me. She's not my type, despite the fact that she's stunning."
"I don't think you're telling the truth."
"Its up to you."
"Hey-hey, jackass, keep your mouth shut. When it comes to women, you're always on your shoes. You are a smart friend, but when it comes to love, you are always foolish. Get organized so I don't have to lecture you all the time."
"Such a lovely dick. Thank you for your fuckmouth," Gallagher said with a grinned, oblivious to Magnar's lengthy diatribe.
"Addavan is on the hunt for you."
When he heard the man's name, he furrowed his brow. "For?"
"Because he fucking missed punching you! Goodbye, maggot. You shit! Don't come home crying like a tod, or I'll chop your dick and feed it to the piranhas!" Then it vanished on the next line.
He simply laughed at him. There are four of them. He, Magnar, Tiverius, and Maccabi were the four. They are the four constellations that constitute Dark X; they have titles for their missions and are better known by clients.
Because the people in Japan called him Gheron, his name became Gheron just in Japan. Not bad for a character named Gheron. He is a local farmer, and no one except Mr. Yakoto is aware of his true identity.
Have you sent it, sister? I'm short on cash. If you have it, send it right away.
He sat his palm on the table and gazed at Marie's sister Marites' message. He gained access to the girl's Facebook profile.
I'll send it today since it is my day off. Sorry, little one.
As he read the two's interchange chat, the right corner of his mouth rose.
Mother said, "By the way, sister. If you can give her 60,000, that would be great. She explained that she required it for the approaching fiesta. I believe she would be capable of feeding the entire barangay.
When Gallagher read that message, he burst out laughing. He handed Mr. Yakoto enough money to provide Mrs. Ajinomoto for Marie's birthday present. He knew he shouldn't have done it, but he felt sad for Marie's expression, which looked as if she was crying at the prospect of finding the money. He likes the woman, he knows that, and when he likes a woman, he goes all out. However, there is a limit. For the time being, he will help in secret, and no one will know.
"Gallagher."
For a little period, he was distracted by the chat read. Using the hologram watch, he faced Yx on the other line.
"Hey, Yx."
"I'm just going to give you a month. Dark X is in desperate need of your help.”
He let out a whistle. Yx only offered him a month, which was an insufficient amount of time. He even wanted to pretend to be a farmer for a few months and taunt Marie on a daily basis.
"Three months."
"You will be appreciated by my bullet, Taurus."
When his code name was called, he laughed. Taurus is a constellation in the zodiac.
"Copy."
Yx and he switched lines, and he was once again confronted with Marie's and her sister's chat messages. He examines every response the girl makes to her sister, as well as Marie's attitude.
After a while, he decided to make a fake account and follow and add her to Facebook. Her profile was empty, but her cover photo featured her entire family. On her timeline, there are only tags and mentions, as well as the cheerful faces of her siblings. Marie doesn't have a picture of herself alone.
Vensson, Gal.
He grinned at the name he had chosen. Gallagher is short for Gal. He has the profile of a man he has never met. He just snatched it and used it away. He was no longer hesitant to strike up a conversation with her.
Hello, I hope everything is fine with you.
He paused for a few seconds till ten minutes had passed. He received no response. He brushed it aside. Marie was the one he expected to do it. She's as tough as a rock, and it's a quality he admires. He was put to a greater test.
He reached for his own coffee maker, stretching out his hand. He made coffee first, and then Yx began working on the postscript homework for him. Yx will assign him a project to complete even if he is already in hell and drinking with Satan.
Marie... Hmm? I'm fond of you…
