Claire crawled out of bed at six in the morning. She was still feeling tired. As she thought about how she had waited for Dick to call last night, her heart sank. She dragged herself to the bathroom and had a quick shower. Pulling on a jeans and t-shirt she made her way the kitchen. Her mother stood against the counter stirring a cup of coffee.
