After what happened on Halloween, Matt gave my parents a helpful suggestion. He mentioned that it helped Nora when she got attacked. Dad turned our garage into a junkyard. He had metal, glass, and anything else I could hit with a sledgehammer. Yep, you heard correctly, a sledgehammer.

Being a lawyer, Dad made sure everyone wore personal protection equipment. Ah, lawyers. You must love them. They don’t like it when someone sues them for an injury.

"Okay, so, you smash anything in the circle with the sledgehammer. Don’t smash me,” Dad said while pointing at me.
