Xavier woke the next day, hurried to shower, and dressed in clothes for outdoor sports so he wouldn't freeze to death, and then he texted her.

Just finishing getting ready, he texted Kira. Are you awake yet?

There was a moment's pause and he thought that she was probably still asleep. He was ready to go anyway and have breakfast at the North Pole Lodge and wait for her, when she texted him.

Barely, Kira texted back.

Xavier chuckled. Well, get up, sleepyhead. Time to get some schooling.

If we go skiing, I'll be the one to be doing the schooling, she texted back.
