CURSED ALPHA, SEARCHING FOR MY MATE.....
"I haven't felt so many souls around me before," said dad.
I turned and found him salivating, he tried to go after a young girl however I grabbed his wrist and dragged him away.
"Calm yourself down dad, it's not saved to do anything stupid,".
I rebuke him.
He rose his hand up and slapped mine away.
"Says, someone who's cursed and almost at the verge of becoming soulless," dad grunts, "you can as well join us, and we will make the whole world bow,"
Dad puts in.
I laughed.
I struggled with the crowd of people at the train station and thankfully dad and I got in.
We were traveling to a new place in search of one thing that can heal me and that was, my mate.
A pure in heart human that can control the one thing I fear so much, that is becoming soulless.
If I can be able to find her in this new city, I'll be able to free myself from this curse eating me inside, but if I don't, I might as well embrace myself.
But in all, finding the girl destined to free me, is my number one priority.
Hours past finally we got to our destination, dad held our bags and we both rode out together.
A cab stopped in front, we got in after lowering our bags inside the trunk.
Before coming, dad had already made provisions for our housing, I'm quite surprised because my dad never does anything even after being told too
We were dropped in front of a house, the outside seemed a little clean, and so I walked in holding my suitcase.
I haven't touched the doors handle, it broke in two.
Dad goes in striving to hide his face.
I strode right after he did and guess what I saw, my dad had arranged a deadbeat rat-infested apartment for us to live in.
I drove inside a room and a huge cobweb-covered my face, escorted by clouds of dust.
I should have known my dad wouldn't do anything nice, sometimes I feel as if I'm the grown-up one here.
"Dad"
I ambled outside to meet him clearing the dust in the air, he turns and gave me a stare, "I know what you're going to say, so please don't,". He declared openly.
"Do you think we can be able to stay here, look at this?".
I ran a finger on the wall and it was wrapped in dust, "how on earth did you get this apartment?". I augmented.
"From a friend, after all, we aren't the only ones here?"
Dad explained.
"Wait, do you mean, werewolves are living in the city?".
I asked.
"Sure there is,"
Dad confirmed and brushed past me.
I took a glance around, the entire apartment was so messed up that I wouldn't want to live here.
However, what choice do I have, after all, I came here for a mission and the minute I get that done, I don't think I'll be staying at his house anymore.
Firstly, I'll have to clean the entire house if I can be able to stay here.
I held the sleeves of my shirt up, grabbed a broom and a dustpan at the side, and swept everywhere.
While sweeping, the dust came on strong.
I had no choice but to endure to get everywhere cleaned.
After a few hours of thorough cleaning, the living room came off a little okay, I went straight to the kitchen and had everywhere cleaned and while going up to the rooms, I met dad cleaning.
He twirls and saw me standing at the doors opening.
"What, I'm not a bad father,"
He grins at me.
I smiled a little and left, I took a stroll outside the house, and everyone who passed glanced at me.
I waved and instead of waving back, they both whispered to themselves and rode past.
"Don't mind them, they can be annoying sometimes,"
A man's voice spun me around.
"Hi, I'm Chris, I live next door,"
He put in.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Liam Khan, I just moved in," I asserted.
Chris wore a charming smile, we both shared a handshake and later pulled apart.
"So tell me, do you think you can show me around the city tonight,"
I raised a question.
He nods and happily accepted.
I thanked him and left to see what dad was up to since he magically decided to clean.
Trust me, my dad has never held a broom in his life, well he did hold once due to the fact my mom pestered him too, but since after her death, he has never been able to hold one not even look at it.
