I was almost entering a cab when Anna's voice reeled my head back.

Her clothes were drenched in water and she stood there looking stunned.

Everyone in college laughed Including Dina and David.

I don't know the relationship they both shared but In the few hours I have spent, I'm thinking they don't like each other.

"Aww! Are you surprised?.

Dina taunts.

I know it shouldn't be of concern to me, however, I had a strong desire to tear Dina's and David's hearts.

"Sir! Are you getting in?"

The man inside the cab side, I turned left, however, something stopped me.

Immediately I turned around In haste and grabbed Anna's hand, she wears a stunning look and I smiled dragging her away.

I pushed her into the cab and we both left school together, on our way, Anna asked to the stopped and I looked down seeing we were at her house.

She gets down and without any form of gratitude, left me short of words.

It's quite normal for someone to say, thank you, after all, I saved her from getting further humiliated by David and Dina.

The cab driver took me back home, I stepped through the front door and I had thought dad was going to be downstairs awaiting my return.

But he left after keeping a note underneath the study lap.

I slammed my back on my bed and dozed off,  David's party was slated for seven in the envelope, I still have some time to get enough rest and sleep.

It was exactly seven, I got down from my bed and went out to get ready for the party.

I came down after some time and yet dad wasn't found.

It's strange because he has never left without my knowledge.

Where could he be?.

I phoned him on his phone, but he directed me to voicemail, he hasn't left without telling me.

Abruptly seeing there wasn't any need to wait, I got out of the house and went to David's party.

I couldn't take dad's car and so took a cab there, the driver stopped me in front of a huge mansion.

It was so huge that I almost felt small staring at it.

I paid for the fare and walked further in.

It seems David invited the whole school, I stepped into the party and a lady walks out, she hands me a drink and disappeared into the crowd.

I stared at the drink and noticed it had a weird color, I placed it beside a Stoll and left.

I went to the backyard and there was a pool party going on there, I turned around to leave, David yelled.

"Hold on Liam, and where do you think you're going to?"

I held my form and confronted him.

"Nowhere David, tell me what brings me here?"

I asked.

"Nothing, just a little welcoming gift from us the students,"

He answered.

A welcoming gift.

Why do I feel like, his trying to stall me?
