Susan's Crash

Jasmine hopped up. "I’ll race you, Daddy!" she declared before dashing off toward the nursery.

Astor grinned at Charlotte before following. "You’re on, little one!"

Charlotte laughed, standing up and brushing the dust from her jeans before heading to the nursery as well.

Inside, chaos had already unfolded. Elaine was standing in the middle of the room, holding one of the triplets, Leo while the other two, Isla and Nathan, were wailing in their cribs. Jasmine was trying her best to soothe them, rocking Isla’s crib gently.

"Thank goodness you’re here!" Elaine exclaimed, bouncing Leo in her arms. "It’s like they have a built-in alarm system....
