I woke up to the loud sound of my phone ringing on the bedside table. I tried to open my eyes but I shut it back immediately as I was blinded by the bright light. The soft morning light painted the room in shades of gold and grey. I stirred, a deep, pleasant ache radiating from my core, a constant reminder of the night.
