Blake POV
I was surprised to see her coming out from gabbrila's closet.
She was putting on short bum shorts and a crop top
I was lost staring at her, stop drooling over her brother.
Grabbarila's voice snapped me out of my thoughts
Don't think too highly of yourself, I wasn't drooling.
Here you go, I said as I handed my atm card to Gabriella.
Take her to the mall the guards will accompany you to go get her a few things, and as for you, angela doesn't even think of escaping.
I said to her as I made to leave the room I stopped staring at her one more time.
One more thing don't think of leaving the mansion with that thing you're putting on.
I snapped at her, before leaving, I planned on making life miserable for her but I couldn't bring myself to leave her without clothes.
I don't know what came over me too, to prevent her from wearing that clothes.
I walk out from the main building to the garage.
I open the range over sports and entered inside.
I drove out of the compound, and with lots of things on my mind, I headed straight to Douglas clubhouse.
That's where he should be by now, douglas is the only one that would help me right now.
Few minutes of driving I got to the clubhouse.
I parked my car at the parking lot and alighted from it.
Walking inside, the music was so loud that I could barely hear a thing.
I signed the barman to come over, he came as I instructed him on what to get for me.
He came back with a bottle of red wine, I took it from him.
And pour a large quantity for me, hey man.
I raise my hand for a handshake when doulas came over.
He smiled as he took the second glass cup on the table.
He drank it up in one goal, take it, easy man.
I said to him panting him on his back.
You came early today what's up and how is your new slave?
She went to the mall with Gabriella I said to him sipping the wine in my hands.
Oh, see, what's up with you, how do you plan on handling the deal with the investors?
Hmm, I don't have anything in mind yet, they don't have a choice but to agree With me.
Your thinking shows who you are, you don't think straight.
At this point, I think you're being selfish, drugs said to me.
Selfish huh? Humans and their cheap thinking, if I'm being selfish I won't have to strike that deal with you.
I fired back at him, I'm sorry blake im just ... He trailed off not knowing what to say.
I stood up leaving him at the clubhouse, as my mind drifted back to Angela.
Angela POV
We tried out dresses upon dresses. Gabriella was able to find a beautiful dress with a high slit by the side.
"What about this one?" I looked at her hands in one there was a beautiful red gown with a slit at the side, and in the other was a short off shoulder Gown.
"I will go with the red gown, red was
my mom's favorite" Gabriella smiled at me, giving the black gown back to the attendant.
She brought out master Blake's card and gave it totheeattendantst.
, she rolled her eyes and threw a kiss in my direction. After that, she paid and we headed to the food court for lunch.
After getting our food and picking a table, we sat down and eat.
"Angela, are you okay? What are you looking at?." I zoned back in and quickly looked at Gabriella,
"n..no, it's nothing" I stuttered out nervously.
"Are you sure you look kind of pale?" she questioned again, accessing my face.
I put on a fake smile hoping she would fall for it.
"I'm okay, just tired" |let out still with a smile on my face.
Let's go, she said as we handover the bags to the guards.
The drive back home was a silent one, so many thoughts were on my mind.
My works and my dreams have vanished into the thin air.
Just the thought of it alone makes me hate my uncle and blake.
I used the back of my hands in cleaning the tears from my eyes.
I went silent and I didn't even realize that we were home already.
Gabralla's voice jerked me out of my thoughts.
We are home already, bmybrotherr has been calling, and he would probably be upset with us for keeping him waiting.
Gabriella said as she ordered the guards to bring in the bags.
Blake was already waiting when I entered. He was like a king at the end of the table, his unyielding gaze stopped me in my tracks. His tattooed arms were exposed, set in full display as his black shirt sleeves were rolled up. Heat spread through me when he sized me up.
" what took you so long?
I didn't bother answering him and took a sit further away from him. Blake looked greatly dissatisfied by this but didn't say a word.
"You look lovely," he said again, his voice hoarse and his expression cold. I couldn't read his face but that didn't mean I didn't notice the heat dancing around his black orb making them darker than ever if it was even possible.
His stare never wavered, I could feel it burning into my skin even when I refuse to meet his gaze. I kept my eyes downcast staring at the beautiful texture of the table just to avoid looking at him.
"I know you have questions, so I permit you to ask," the nerve of this guy, who does he think he is?
Since I have been given the advantage to ask questions, maybe he will tell me why he bought me in the first place.
"Why am l here," I asked finally mustering all the courage and strength to look up.
"I thought l answered this question yesterday. It's simple. I want you, which makes you mine." he rumbled, rubbing his chin, lips pulled up in a tiny smile.
"I'm not some object, you could just claim like that. I'm a human with rights," I snapped angrily at him.
He didn't respond to that, he sunk back into his chair, Thick brows knitted together.
"Then let me go" I pleaded to try to get to him. I have been here for two days and he hasn't harmed me in any way despite what Gabriella said. Maybe I can find a way to reason with him.
The look in his eyes sharpened anything but that.
"I'm never letting you go."
My heart broke at his words, I held back the tear threatening to fall not wanting to show any weakness
"Then I need nothing from you."
Silence settled between us, broken by the sound of a servant entering with plates of food. Blake didn't bother sparing them not even a single glance. His eyes never leave mine. The delicious smell of food hit my nose, making my stomach growl and I remembered the last time I ate was yesterday morning. I didn't realize I was so hungry, hungry enough to disregard his unwavering gaze. We ate in silence for a while until a thought crossed my mind.
