I laid down on the mat Maddie had spread, staring at the other students as they ran and played around the ghost beach.

I was surprised when Maddie informed me that Jacob, one of the school hotties, was throwing a party here, and we were invited. It was unusual to have people throw parties on this particular beach. They rarely came near here at all. It had many ghost stories that kept people away.
