Jayden’s POV

“What the heck do you think you're doing Jayden?” My inner voice questioned, as I ran through the forest with Jovita. I couldn't give myself a reasonable explanation for what I had just done. How do I explain the impromptu appearance?

I had been thinking about Jovita all day, and suddenly I was in her friend’s room whisking her out without a second thought. I was still wondering how she managed to find her way out of my house earlier today. And for a strange reason I couldn't fathom, I craved her presence.

“You missed her,” my inner voice teased.

I shook my head. I didn't miss her....
