Lucian'POV

I walked up and down the hospital hallway, my eyes on the clock. The clock chimed, indicating that it was just some minutes towards the hours of four in the morning. The doctors came out of the theatre, all looking exhausted but with a sense of fulfilment, as if they had something in there. The head of the doctors approached me, his tone light.

“You should go home and get some sleep sir, we have the best team of doctors here, thanks to you. She has been checked and is now fine, but I'm afraid I will still need to ask her to stay behind for some more tests...
