With a strength of desperation, I pushed myself to my feet, my body shaking with exhaustion.
I searched the cell, my eyes straining against the darkness.
And then I saw it...
A loose stone, a hint of light peeking through its cracks.
I dug my fingers into the stone, pulling and prying until it came loose, my hands bloodied and raw.
A small tunnel was revealed, just large enough for my small body to squeeze through.
