“Good morning, Lily,” I greeted her as soon as she got in the car. It seems that she’s waiting for me earlier.

Lily smiled. “Good morning.”

“Did you have your breakfast?” I asked and glanced at her.

She nodded. “Yes, I’m done. How about you?”

“Not yet. Do you mind joining me?” I stopped the car on the side of the road. 

Lily turned her head at me. “What do you want for breakfast?”

“You,” I answered, and I can see that Lily was shocked. “I mean, you? What do you want to eat?”

“I-I ate my breakfast,” she stuttered.
