Angela was playing in the living room when I arrived. The girl noticed me immediately and ran toward me.

“Daddy, you are back!”

I crouched to kiss and hug her. “Did you miss daddy?”

“Yes, I miss you so much!” she said and giggled.

“That’s good,” I said and kissed her cheek. “Angela, do you want to play with my friend’s son?”

“When, daddy?” the little girl asked.

“This weekend,” I replied.

“Does mommy know?”

“I'll tell her. If she agreed, on Saturday or Sunday you will play with him, okay?”
