"Anna, He is a mafia boss and our daughter's life could be in danger. The only way she can be safe from all this is by getting married to Lucas since the Crawford's are Mafia Royalties "

"It's either Tecca or Lucas " He concluded.

"What? All this happened and you didn't see the need to inform me "I said, literally bittered and he sighed.

"I'm so sorry, Anna. l thought you'd be so worried after hearing this so l decided not to inform you about it. I thought about this for quite some time and saw the need to get Isabel married to Lucas "he explained and numbness infused my entire body.

"Anna, are you okay? "He asked and placed his hands on my shoulders.

"I'm just sad that my daughter has to go through all this. it's awful "I uttered, lugubrious and he hugged me.

"l know, right? But what was I suppose to do? Get her married to Tecca? "he went on and i disengaged from the hug, immediately.

"There is no way my daughter is getting married to Tecca. That beast has gotten married thrice and he killed all three of his wives by himself! "I exasperated.

"And that's why I had to go for Lucas " Peter affirmed and i sighed, forlorn.

"I guess Lucas is for the best then. I'm more than certain he would protect Isabel from that evil beast " I reassured myself and my husband embraced me.

"Now, that's the spirit. So we have to stay strong for our daughter, who knows? This might be her chance to fall in love "he arranged and i nodded.

"You are right. Isabel hasn't really been involved with guys "

We disentangled.

"I'm going to bed now. I'm so exhausted from such a long day. Come on, let's go to bed "

"Go on. I will join you soon "

Peter yawned as he proceeded to the stairs till he was out of sight.

l slumped on the couch and sobbed.

Why does it have to be my baby girl, huh?

This is just too much, but the lsabel I know would surely do something stupid to stop this wedding but I'm not gonna let that happen.

l will make sure this wedding takes place. No matter what it takes.

"Good morning mom," I said and kissed her cheek.

l totally ignored Dad and settled down on a chair.

"You didn't greet your father, Isabel "Mom spoke up and i looked at Dad. "Let me make something clear, whatever you choose to do, the wedding is going to take place. No matter what "Mom added, plainly and l sprung up.

"What? Mom, you are still included in all this? "I exclaimed, surprised.

"Yes, my daughter. This is for your good "she responded and i hit the table.

"For my good? How is this for my own good, huh? You are ruining my life, don't you understand? "

"Vivian is coming over, we will be going to pick your wedding gown, your wedding is on Saturday, "she said, ignoring my question.

"What?! Mommm... "I exclaimed.

"Yes, young lady. So finish up, she would be here soon "She responded and i sighed.

l paced to and fro the dining room. l folded my lips trying to conceal the anger trying to burst out.

"Dad, why are you not saying anything? "

"Well, I'm with your mom. You should listen to her "he responded and l rolled my eyes.

Like l expected! l sat down and bowed my head for a while.

"Well, since you guys are more interested in ruining my life, pick any dress of your choice and let's just get this done with but as for me, I'm not a party to this," I said and stood up from the table, leaving my food untouched.

"Isabel! Isabel!! "Mom called but I ignored her, totally.

I got into my car and drove to my best friend's apartment.

"You look really angry, Ella. What happened this time around? "Lilly said as i walked in after she opened the door.

l slumped on the couch, stressed.

"You won't believe it, Ella. it's terrible "I blurted and she was silent for a while.

"Umm... I can't guess. You tell me "

"My wedding is on Saturday, Ella!. You know what? Get me a ticket to Italy. I'm leaving this country on Friday and not a word of this to anyone, okay? "

I have a secret account where I stash money. At least, that should last me for a while at Italy "

"Take a chill pill, girl. I'm not sure going to Italy is a good idea. You need somewhere remote, girl, like that island you discovered the other time. Yeah, that's perfect "She said and l smiled.

I hugged her real tight.

"You are the best "I squealed, excitedly.

"Yes. l will get my speedboat and stuck the house over there with supplies that can last you till everything dies down "She added.

"Thanks, Lilly. You are really the best friend one could ever ask for " I replied, hugging her tightly.

We talked and planned for a while before I headed back home. I just need to sneak out of the house on Friday night and boom! Isabella is gone. l smiled, satisfactorily.

FRIDAY NIGHT

"Honey, this is the best for you. Your parents would never lie to you "My mom said for the umpteenth time and i rolled my eyes.

"I want to sleep, Mom. You all are going to ruin my life tomorrow, at least, let me get some rest "l snapped and sat on my bed.

"Goodnight, honey. By the way, it's ur big day tomorrow " she replied as she walked out of my room.

l smiled, mischievously. lt really is my big day tomorrow.

AN HOUR LATER

Everyone's probably asleep now.

I got down from the balcony of my room with a rope. I passed the back and jumped down the fence. I crawled to the front yard and sighted Lily's car.

I got into the car and she drove off to the sea.

"lsland, here i come "

McKenzie MANSION

There is commotion everywhere.

"I can't find Bella, I can't find my daughter " Anna lamented, crying profusely.

Vivian was by her side trying to console her.

"Maybe we should have just told her the truth about this marriage. l should have "she cried out.

"We are going to find her, Ma'am. Be rest assured, i will bring her back safely "Lucas said, trying to console her.

He couldn't believe the girl could be this stupid. How can she run away on the night before her wedding?

"Does she have any friends? "Lucas asked.

"Yes but I went over and she's not there "Aria replied, tearfully.

"We really have to find her before nightfall else if Tecca finds her then all hell will break loose," Peter said, making Anna wail more.

In a speed of light, Lily ran inside. Everyone was startled at the way she rushed in.

"Ella... Bella.... she was kidnapped " she stammered, catching her breath.

"My daughter!! "Anna screamed.

"Isabella has been kidnapped? How? "Vivian asked in fear.

"She was supposed to run away to an island we both found till everyone stops the discussion about her getting married but she suddenly pressed the distress code later on and i really don't remember what happened after that but l found myself in the speed boat at the shore "She concluded. "Without Isabel "she exclaimed and Mr McKenzie sighed.

"Tecca " Lucas said, sighing. "it's probably him "

"There is no way we can find her now. Tecca's base has never been found out " James(Lucas's father) said.

"But I'm going to bring your daughter back alive," Lucas said as he got out of the house.

"Lucas! "Lilly called out and he turned to face her.

"She has a tracker attached to her bra "She stated and his eyes dilated.

"Really? "Lucas asked in disbelief.

"Yes, she started doing that since she turned 16 "Aria chipped in and Lucas rolled his eyes.

"So she isn't that foolish, isn't it? "Lucas thought.

"Ok then. Let's go track her down "Lucas said as he left with them.

He is sure going to make her life a living hell when he finds her. They ain't even married and she's already giving him troubles, what would happen when they get married?

How I got kidnapped, I don't remember, all I remember is pressing the distress code and here I am tied to a chair.

"Oh, sleeping beauty is awake "l heard and looked up to see a good looking guy. Though I think Lucas is hotter.

Come on, Isabella. Not now!

"Who are you? And why have you brought me here? "l asked, trying to free my hand from the rope's tight grip.

"I'm gonna be your husband, darling so we are getting married tonight " he responded and I scoffed.

What's up with everyone and marriage? Are they all under a spell or something?

"I can't marry you, dumb ass! "I cursed struggling to get free. "Just get me out of here! "

"Feisty! Wow, I like that! "He replied and sipped from the glass of wine he was holding.

"l will get some people to have you prepared for our wedding, darling, "He said and with that, he left the room.

Wow! I ran from one marriage only to jump right into another. What sort of trouble have I gotten myself into?

I should just have quietly married Lucas at least he is hotter and sounds nice.

"Come on, Bella "l thought and squinted my eyes.

Not now, you still have to find a way to get out of this hell and not jump into another hell girl.
