"Shawn, everything has a price," Nate said

"Don't be afraid, man, it's just for protection," Jacqueline said and peeked with Nate.

"Follow me from here," he said, then walked in front of us.

I wandered in my eyes in the large forest with the sounds of birds and those trees that bore strange shapes like human form, and I began to take some pictures for remembrance.

We walked a good distance and didn't come across anything on our way, everything was going well and I think Nate is exaggerating his alleged myths and superstitions, I really hope he gives up his dream after that.

"So, we have come to the end of the northern section, this forest has held many legends and mysterious things as you can see the trees here look strange like ghosts" said the guide

"Can we see more of her?" Nate sighed

"I don't think so, it would be dangerous to get into other departments, a few weeks ago I lost a colleague of mine when he got in," he said.

"What do you think happened to him?" I said to him

"Maybe he got lost inside, or was killed by predatory creatures. There are rumors about mythical creatures here too, I don't really know," he said.

"Yeah, those creatures, that's what I wanted, can we camp here?" Nate said, his eyes shining excitedly

I swallowed my throat, "Nate, didn't you hear what Sean said?" I whispered to Nate

"We won't go two miles, we'll camp where we left the car and we'll lure monsters into us," he said in a low voice

"Oh my God..." I grumbled when Nate seemed determined

"I apologise, Mr. Nate, but it is dangerous to stay here at night," he said

"But I paid you well with the money, you can"t deny it." Nate said angrily

"We're armed here, and we won't be here long for that girl," Jacqueline said, pointing to me

Sean nodded, "Okay, but I'm not responsible if any of you lose or something happens here." He said

I looked at Jacqueline. He was well aware of my fears and anxieties, unlike Nate, who began to put his bag on the ground and searched its contents to get out his computer trying to locate somewhere on the map.

"Fuck this junk...communication here is weak," Nate said

"The place really needs modern equipment to be able to do that," said Shun

Time passed quickly and we wandered in vain and then we went back to where we parked and turned on the night lights around us while Sean refused to leave the car.

"Russell, get in the car too, we'll set up some traps," Jacqueline said

I nodded at him and climbed into the car where Sean put on the headphones and thought he was in perfect harmony listening to the music.

Through the window I watched one of Jacqueline's men distributing meat to the trees in an attempt to lure any mythical creature by the smell of blood in the flesh, and I was afraid we would attract leopards or perhaps lions instead.

"How ridiculous that sounds," I said in a low voice, watching them while sipping on a can of soda.

Time passed slowly and I seemed to have slept a little, but I was surprised when I heard the sound of a little baby crying near here...I think I've pictured it.

I slowly opened my eyes and turned around. I saw Sean sleeping and Nate lying in the back seat of the car.

I tried to look outside through the window, but could not because of the poor lighting of the lamps, while there was silence outside.

"Nate...wake up there's some kid in need of help" I whispered

"No Mellin, it"s just your imagination…" he said in a drowsy voice and then snored again

I sighed and walked away and asked where Jacqueline and the rest of the men were. There was probably no one around. They were scouting around here... and I cautiously left out of the car.

he child's crying still continued, and I felt pity for him. Is it possible that he had lost his family here? I left the car and walked slowly over the stiff papers but I couldn't find Jacqueline and the others around, I caught a glimpse of a man sleeping deep beside the car with the gun

As if I was stuck in some kind of dream, I continued my way through the trees and the sound was still echoing away, something pulling me there was like a drug to me, I really wanted to see what it was... the earth .

I awoke from my wanderings when I raised my eyes to see three boys in front of me, very dangerous by their ravenous looks to me, who were bare-breasted and only wearing trousers with their bare feet on the ground. While their eyes turned between golden and purple, despite the darkness of the night.

"Who are you?" I said, swallowing fearfully

"Hm...a beautiful human girl in our hospitality" Someone said

"You're sneaking into our little property," said the other, jumping, perhaps flying over me to the other side.

Here my heart began to beat with fright, and I wrapped my arms around me in a heap. I was very frightened, and I discovered already that I had penetrated into the woods because I saw the place dark and strange around me.

My lips quivered, "I'm not the right girl to have a good time with you, you can look elsewhere" I said

One of them quickly grabbed me by the arm behind me while the other passed his nose on my neck.

"Get away from me, you bastards," I said, trying to get out of their grasp

"Nyeet… Jacqueline!" I was just screaming out loud with sobs

Suddenly I saw, or perhaps imagined, the appearance of something around us with the terrifying animal roar that I could not see, when the young man was pulled by my neck to free myself from the grip of the other on my arm from behind and I fell to the ground

Here my eyes widened and I could hardly see that huge silver wolf trying to maul the young man lying on the ground, whose fangs protruded fearfully in the face of the wolf with hissing while the rest of the boys ran away, I put my hand over my mouth and I resisted my urge to faint.

Come on, Melin, resist... I said encouraging myself, and when I tried to stand up to escape, my leg fell and I couldn't walk because of the trembling and I was stuck to the tree with trembling.

The big wolf turned away from the boy as if on purpose, and immediately the strange boy ran away at great speed like lightning and I could hardly see him, to be alone with the huge and terrifying wolf.

He stood and stared at me, and then I saw him sitting and lowering his head to make something strange happen to him. His fur and those large claws had fallen off, to be replaced by the human body of a completely naked man who was standing there with his tall and muscular body.

Amidst my astonishment and widening my eyes, I felt nauseous and wanted to vomit due to the strangeness of the scene. What was this?!

He brushed his charcoal-black hair over his eyes, as though he were a sculpture of a Greek-era statue. He slowly approached me, and in the dark of night I could see the gleaming reflection of his gray eyes that looked like the eyes of my kitty cat.

"God, please don"t kill me," I whispered, trembling
