Celine blushed instantly as she looked down.
“I don't understand,” Celine feels so confused.
“That's okay, now come home with me!” King Roman says suddenly.
“But, I don't want to go with you!” Celine said angrily.
“You must because you are my wife.”
“But, let me go!”
“Guardians! Take her to my castle!” King Roman shouts at the guards, who quickly rushed in and started to tie her hands behind her back.
She struggled against them trying to fight but to no avail.
“Hey, you're making this harder than it needs to be.” King Roman said as he approached her with a mischievous grin on his face.
“Let me go!”
“I can't do that. I would miss you. But I guess I'll miss you more once you leave me.” He said sadly.
“Why? I would rather not leave! I'm happy here. You don't know how happy I am, you don't know how much you make me smile!” Celine pleaded as tears streamed down her face.
“You're lying. You don't like it here. You always look sad.” He said.
“It's not that. It's that-”
“It's that I make you sad?” He asked, interrupting her sentence.
She nodded her head in response and the tears stopped falling from her eyes and a massive grin appeared on her face.
“You're wrong. The reason I don't like it here isn't that I'm sad, but because I'm in love with you.”
She giggled happily.
“I love you too.”
They both grinned at each other.
“But, I don't belong here. Why aren't you taking me back to my real life?” She said while pointing to the window.
“It doesn't matter anymore. That's the past. What matters right now is that I love you, and you love me.” He explained.
“I wish that you'd never found me. If you hadn't, then I wouldn't be in trouble right now.” She said regretfully.
“I'm not going anywhere, Celine. Never forget that.”
“Okay, I'm going to go now,” Celine says.
“Before you go, give me another chance. Just one.” He begged.
“One what?”
“To prove myself.”
She hesitated for a minute before nodding her head reluctantly.
“You better make things right between us, and otherwise, I'll never forgive you.” She threatened before she opened the window and climbed out of it, landing on the ground safely.
As soon as she was outside, a guard picked her up by her waist and carried her inside a horse carriage and away from her new home.
A part of her wish is that she can stay here forever and ever; however, she knows that she won't be able to stay here forever. She will have to return to her kingdom eventually.
Soon, they arrived at her home and placed her on the bed, before she could escape, another guard came into the room and tied her ankles together tightly.
“Where am I?!” She shouted furiously.
“Stay calm, Princess. Please. Don't do anything stupid.”
“Who sent you?!”
“Calm down, Princess.”
“Who are you?”
“Don't worry, your Highness, everything will be fine.”
She scowled at him.
“Get out!”
“We can't do that, Princess.”
“And why not?!”
“We have orders not to allow anyone to enter until further notice, including you.”
“I see. So, what are you waiting for, get me out!"
“Princess, please. Everything will be fine.”
“Get me out, or I swear to god I will scream so loud that everyone will hear me!”
She screamed and yelled until the walls started shaking, she didn't care if anybody would hear her cries of agony.
This was all too much for her to handle at the moment. She couldn't even think straight.
In a panic, she tried to free herself from the ropes, but they were tightly tied together. Her strength wasn't enough to rip the rope apart, and she couldn't even see through it.
Her cries of pain were louder and louder until suddenly, somebody burst into her room.
That was King Roman.
“Your Highness!” The guard quickly bow and ran out of her room immediately.
He kneeled beside the bed and stared at her crying face. His expression softened instantly.
“Oh God, Celine. What happened to you?”
She glared at him angrily.
“What are you doing here?”
“I came to bring you back to my castle, but instead I saw you screaming like crazy, so I decided to check what's wrong.”
“Nothing is wrong.”
“Are you confident? Because you look pale, and you don't seem well.”
“I'm fine.”
She looked away from him as she felt shy under his gaze.
“Are you confident?” He questioned again.
“Fine.”
“Are you certain that you're alright?”
“I am perfectly fine.” She said angrily as she pushed him away from her.
“Celine, you're my wife and as soon you will give birth to the next throne of Dawn Kingdom.” King Roman said as he took a step closer to her, causing her to shrink back.
“No, I'm not.” She said defiantly.
“Yes, you are.” He replied in a stern voice as he grabbed her chin and forced her to face him.
She tried to move away from him, but she couldn't because her ankles had been securely bound to the bed.
She looked at him fearfully.
“I'm not your wife, I am not giving you any more power.”
“You're giving me nothing. I have you completely controlling yourself.”
“No, you haven't. I won't give you the power you deserve. I won't give you the throne.”
“You have no choice, sweetheart. You're my wife, and I have to make you pregnant.”
“It's not happening. Get out of here.” She ordered, glaring daggers at him.
“Celine, if you don't give me what I want, you'll regret it.”
“No, I won't.”
“Listen carefully, Celine. I'm not going to kill you or send you to the dungeons. We can make this work. You can become my queen, and I'll protect you. No one has ever loved you like I do, princess.”
“No.”
“Yes. Listen closely. I don't mean to hurt you, I just want you. And I'll make you mine. All yours, forever and always.”
“You will never own me." She exclaimed, struggling against the ropes that were around her wrists.
“Watch me.” With that, he leaned forward until his lips were dangerously close to hers.
