Besides, even if things were bad, at least she'd been able to experience them with someone she truly cared about. Someone she considered to be her best friend, someone that she trusted and loved deeply.
And she hadn't had to watch them die right in front of her. She wasn't forced to watch the person whom she loved die. She had had time to prepare for it. And she was grateful that she had gotten to spend as much time with him as possible.
