Roman laughed awkwardly, his eyebrows furrowing together. He remembered how upset she used to get whenever he called his dad or brother to complain about her life.
It seemed as though he didn't realize how important his father had been until now. She had probably never told him that she missed her husband because he was working overseas and she hardly ever saw him, but she still cared about him greatly.
