FLORA TAKES A STEP AHEAD OF ADRIAN.

Flora squeezed her shut to dismiss the sudden wave of anger and frustration boiling down her heart before Adrian could make a single statement.

An overwhelming urge to stand up, announce her resignation, and walk out surged through her mind, but when she thought of the years of hardship she had faced because of that man, she swallowed painfully and kept her emotions under control.
