Charles POV- Few days later

Few days later,the detective came to my office with the envelope containing Helena's infos.I opened the envelope and my eyes widened seeing it's content .I couldn't believe what I'm reading.

"She is a low class girl from Adelphi. She has a family... Her blind mother and sisters live in a cottage in the outskirt of Adelphi. She moved to New York a month and two weeks ago. Her dad and brother died in a ghastly road accident." The detective explained and I raised a brow in shock. I guess she must have respected her dad so much. No wonder she couldn't tolerate me insulting her...
