The next morning Nicky woke up with a high fever and a throbbing headache. Every time she moved her head, the pain got worse and so she laid still, trying to recall where she was and where she had been.
"What’s going on?” She muttered, squinting her eyes to accommodate the blinding illumination. Everything seemed so bright.
"Welcome back miss." Came an elderly voice. It was the doctor standing beside the bed she was in.
"How did I get here Doctor?" She muttered. She kept scanning the room amidst confusion.
"Ouch." Nicky felt a sharp pain on her head, her body seemed to grow warmer.
Nicky watched in disbelieve her bulging belly.
"What?" Nicky screamed, reflexive tears rolling down her cheeks as she pulled herself from side to side.
"How did this?" Nicky screamed. "How... How-" She seemed unable to maintain a complete statement, stuttering in confusion.
The doctor couldn't contain this as he fought to keep her in place but to no avail. He beckoned to the aid of some nurses, who rushed to his assistance.
Nicky was injected and went unconscious. The room was alas peaceful.

Ben arrived at the hospital, he played alongside everyone else. He offered to help a cripple move his wheel, using the opportunity to pass through areas more than the required jurisdiction.
"Oh-no, He's here." The doctor noticed. He quickened his steps and headed for Nicky's ward.
Ben noticed, left the cripple and followed after him also increasing his pace.
"H-hello." The doctor stammered, trying to reach the police force to come to his rescue.
Ben caught up with him in time. "Drop the call." He placed a gun to the doctor's back and ordered in a low voice.
The doctor froze instantly and complied.
"Hello, this is the area police. May I know your request?" The voice from the phone called out.
"I am so sorry, my child must have dialed this number just for the sake of it." Ben picked it up, still pointing the gun at the doctor.
"Is everything under control?" The voice demanded to know.
"Yes, we are doing great." Ben hesitated, getting tired of the questions.
"Put the child on the phone mister. " The voice replied adamantly.
"Okay, If you insist." Ben shrugged like he was being honest, ignoring the doctor who watched in amazement.
"Pa wouldn't allow me kiss my mama," Ben feigned a voice, assuming the role a child. "And do I solve my equations?" Ben concluded.
"You see what I’m talking about? That kid's a funny one." He laughed, resuming his role as a father. He ended the call once he determined the officer was convinced.
"Excuse me doctor." A voice was introduced as the door sprang open.
It was a visiting nurse with some files. Ben snatched them off her hands and dragged her in gesturing and threatening to blow her head if she didn't shut the fuck up.
"Oh God." The frightened nurse obeyed, looking up at the doctor, who stood pale.
Ben unplugged some wires from computers and tied them both. He tied their hands, legs and the nurse's mouth. He gave the doctor a mighty punch, sending him on a painful bow.
"That's for the stress I went through. Now, where is the girl?" Ben lamented, rubbing his fist.
"We want no trouble?" The doctor squeaked. "What do you want?"
"The girl and your cooperation, Damn it." Ben alarmed, his hands akimbo.
"You can take her. She’s at ward thirteen of section B, we moved her not long ago. Just don't hurt any of us." The doctor sobbed. The nurse kept on nodding in compliance.
"Good boy." He spoke, kissing the tip of his gun.
Ben worked out of the room, charging furiously, ready for action. He went past section thirteen, taking slow steps as he approached Nicky's ward.
Nicky kept rolling from side to side, one could tell of her frustration as she kept on sobbing. Nicky had just realized she was in a coma for three months and some days, and pregnant for a person she couldn't even remember.
"Hi young lady?” A smiling nurse approached her.
"How do we contact your parents?" She asked, trying to extract some information from her.
"Don't you dare, I hate them, and they are not my parents!” Nicky snapped back.
"I’ll be fine on my own.” She spoke, turning to look away, drying her tears.
"It's okay.” Said the nurse, squeezing her shoulders while trying to comfort her.
"I’ll be back. ” She promised, turning to leave.
"I don’t want to go back to that god forsaken life." Nicky suddenly felt the urge to survive.
The bad girl in her was awoken, she kept on staring at the door planning her next course of action.
Her nurse came in once again administering some drugs to her, “lay still.” She begged.
Nicky kept staring out the door, noticing the strange figure that watched them in scrutiny.
"Who’s that?” She asked, gesturing towards Ben who paced from side to side restlessly.
Ben had arrived at the ward a few minutes ago. He had stopped outside. He peeped through the transparent glass and noticed a nurse in Nicky’s room.
"Hello boss, I'm at the scene, she’s got a nurse in the ward, as soon as the coast is clear I’ll make my move." He spoke into the phone so he could inform Ken of his progress.
"Yes boss.” He concluded, Ken had ordered a go ahead.
"Excuse me sir, no one is allowed in here, are you lost?” The nurse challenged Ben, whom had walked in without care into the ward. She stood in style, demanding a response.
Ben rubbed his head, looking for a suitable excuse.
"This area isn’t meant for visitors and perhaps it isn’t visiting time!” She exclaimed, pointing towards an exit.
Nicky watched the whole drama sternly, he wasn’t someone she know.
"Oh-no.” Nicky was quick to notice the gun hanging on the left side of Ben’s jacket. It had a silencer attached to it.
"He’s gonna kill me ” Nicky sobbed, clenching her fist in fear, “what do I do now?” She added, hands on her chest.
"This is a private section mister, please leave.” The nurse stood firm at her duty.
As they spoke and argued on the nurse kept on stealing looks at his target.
"Goddammit!” Ben cursed, dashing towards the vacant room where Nicky was, “where the fuck did she go?"
Nicky had left her position and was hiding behind the open metal door. She held her mouth tight bearing the pain, ranging form her heavy belly, to the accident incurred injuries. Nicky bled from her left arm were she had forcefully ejected a syringe.
"Hey mister.” Dared the nurse. "You have no rig…” the nurse couldn’t complete her statement as a pistol was aimed her head.
"Now you gonna shut the fuck up. You hear me?” Commanded Ben, gaining control. “Yo, You understand?” He added on.
"Now on the damn floor!” He ordered.
Ben left the wimping nurse on the floor, dashed into the room, looking under the bed, and then dashed into the bathroom wearing a perplexed face and pointing his gun wherever he faced.
The coast was clear.
Nicky took good advantage of this opportunity as she managed her way out the ward without making a noise.
"Fuck!” Ben kept on exclaiming. “See what you caused?" He passed the gun on the back of the nurse who kept on vibrating. “Yo, you see what you caused?!” he gave her a mighty jab with his gun on the back of her neck and a few kicks.
She was rendered unconscious.

Nicky kept sobbing as she made her way out of the hospital. She held her waist to support her present situation, stopping during intervals to check if she was being followed. She had drawn attention.
"A rouge patient, I repeat a rouge patient.” Announced the speaker, as nurses dashed after her as they tried stopping her.
“Let me go, there’s somebody after me!” She struggled amidst tears.
The gathering was sent in on a rampage as Ben fired a few shots in the air. The hospital took on a new form as everyone began a survival run. Security officers went in, confused about who the traitor was.
Nicky hopped her way out of the hospital, spotting a bike on arrival. She hopped on the bike and sped off, leaving Ben amidst the panicking crowd.
Nicky proved smarter as she fled in style, she rode as fast as she could, causing pedestrians to flee her presence.
"Shit boss is gonna kill me!” Ben cried, rubbing his head.
Ken had zero tolerance for failed missions, he once killed a gang member for failure to deliver an appropriate account of cocaine sold.
Nicky had driven further than she could ever be followed. She kept breathing out loud, looking back, making sure no one followed.
As she went along, her speed seemed to be declining as time went on, bringing the bike to a stop
"No...No…No!” Nicky cried in disbelief, sitting depressed, hands glued to her injuries. Her dress was stained in blood from bleeding injuries.
Nicky parked the bike a safe distance off the road, she gestured to passing vehicles which kept ignoring her plea, and she realized the fact that her hunters could abduct her that way.
The sky was changing. Nicky started off seeking refuge. Nicky noticed some little cottages off highway along the country side.
It was getting dark and as the breeze intensified, the rain began to pour down heavily.
Nicky was shivering, she held her hands together, her tears mixed with the drops from the rain. "You are almost there.” She told her soaked self, her dress dripped of blood mixed liquids
The rain had no pity on her, despite her condition, she walked an applaudable distance, still keeping eyes on her trail. A memory hit her, she remembered the night she left her home regretting her decision to leave.
"Ugh!” Nicky cried back to reality.
She staggered, flinching as she had hit a sign post. It had Bernard William written boldly and underneath some rusted letters, the sign post posed ageless.
"Thank God ” Nicky sighed in relief, she realized she lay in front of a cottage.
Mrs. Helen William, a widow in her late seventy’s lived there alone.
Nicky dragged her cold self, climbing the three small steps leading to the main entrance. It seemed as a mission impossible, using all the strength in her, she rang the door bell and collapsed.
"Who’s at the door?" A faint elderly voice called from inside.
"Hey kids, can't you see it's raining?” she raised her voice. “It’s too late for games.” Mrs. Helen spoke, approaching the door, purposely taking her time.
Oh my God!” Mrs. Helen stood shocked, watching Nicky lay shivering drenched and stained with blood.
