Nicky knew she had chosen to perform on a tightrope stretch sideways at the large mouth of the abyss and a single mistake would spell doom for her. 

She now had a ghostly look on her marked face. she packed up and climbed out the lair, sealed its surface with the carpet and fridge in place. Droplets of blood stained its way towards Dale's room, Nicky began scrubbing off the already dried particles of blood crawling on her knees towards Dale's room.

She flashed her light at the matte figure of Dale. More than a pint of blood was forming at Dale's feet which stuck out the bed little mattress...
