The loud sounds had jerked Dale back to life. She turned and found her guardian angel in great pain, her left arm gripped to the bullet wound at the right side of her waist. The two watched each other and though they looked in silence they spoke words of consolation. Dale began crying, she was sorry for the pain she had put her through. "Mum," was all she could say. 

"It's okay darling, I'm here now." Jessy assured. 

Jessy was losing a great deal of blood so she couldn't maintain her kneeling posture and fell to the floor. 

"Mum?" Dale alarmed and struggled towards her. "We won mum, we won!"...
