Soraya's Pov

I woke up in the back of the vehicle with no memory of how I got there. The last thing I remembered was sitting in the front seat talking to Darius about the northern mountains and then everything went black. Now I was lying down on the back seat with a blanket over me and sunlight streaming through the windows.

"Darius?" I called out and sat up slowly. My head was pounding and my mouth tasted like metal.

"I am here," he said from the front seat. He glanced back at me through the rearview mirror. "How are you feeling?"
