The rain didn’t do any good to it, I could barley see as the thunder rumbled and there was a strike of lighting on the sky, the rain continued to pounded against my body.

“Rachel just get in.” Lucas yelled and I stopped in my tracks.

“My name is not Rachel.” I gritted through my teeth, I haven’t answered to that since I left my home.

It’s being five years and I haven’t seen his face since the day he rejected me and slept with my bestfriend Brie, he can’t come into my life and tell me what to do, he can’t force time to speak ronin, I could stay under this rain as long as I could rather than having to talk to him.

I shrugged off the thoughts when I looked away from and I felt a heavy wind whistled through my clothes, it was strong enough, I was scared it would take me away.

“Take me street thirteen and don’t talk to me.” I said and he didn’t speak, what did he want from me, where is Brie; are they still together, I had a lot of thoughts but it was all thrown out of the window when he stopped the car and he increased the heat.

“We need to talk.” Lucas said, his tone was serious and I turned to look at him, what did he know.

“Why?” I asked, “did you come here to tell me how you and Brie are so happy together.” I asked.

That was a mistake on my side, I made it sound like I was jealous.

I tried to open the door when I realized that he has locked it, when I tried to unlock it, he pressed a button and mine was not working anymore.

“What do you want from Lucas, you haven’t thought about me for what five fucking years and you come into my life to ask me to tell you about another man, I don’t think so.” I mumbled against my breath.

“You lost your job and your home, I can help you.” He said js I turned to look at him, what type of game is he playing, what did he mean by that.

“You are in my car not in your home, your car won’t start which means you don’t have money for gas, and you were sitting outside your building, that means someone locked you out of the place, I saw the signs Rachel.” Lucas said and I smiled.

“Did you come back to mock me about it. I didn’t lose anything.” I stated, there was no way I am going to let him know that I needed help, that was non of his business, he didn’t have the right to come into my life.

“I guess we will be here for a while.” He said and he meant every word by that.

It’s being an hour, I was staring at the digital time that was in his car, he didn’t say anything to me, he was waiting for me to speak, why did he come back, what does Blake have to do with him, why did he care and the rain didn’t seem to stop.

I was glad that my son is fine, and I didn’t have anything to worry about it, a breath falls out of my lips and a tear slipped out of my eyes.

“Why are you doing this Lucas, after all you have done to me, why?.” I whispered.
