Liam paced in his office, his jaw clenched as he replayed the words of Charles Weston over and over in his head. The man had called with an ultimatum, his voice cold and dripping with venom. “Let my daughter go, Liam, or I’ll make sure your mother and grandmother suffer the consequences.”
