The aftermath of the battle left the Crescent Moon pack on edge. The village was alive with activity as the warriors tended to their wounds and repaired the damage from the attack. Brielle and Marcus had barely slept, their minds consumed with plans for the future.

As the sun began to set, Brielle called another meeting in the main hall. The leaders gathered once again, their faces grim with exhaustion but determined.

“We can’t let our guard down,” Marcus said, his voice cutting through the tension. “Darius’s followers won’t stop until they’ve destroyed us.”
