A grin spread wide on Daykan’s face.

He couldn’t keep the joy out of his voice. “What can I say? I woke up on the best side of the bed.”

Maybe it was more appropriate to say that he had woken up with the best person.

“I can see that. I’m glad to see you happy Day.” Zekell winked with understanding. “Can I come in or I’ll be intruding? I wouldn’t mind leaving though. I shouldn’t have shown up unannounced.”

“Are you crazy?” Daykan asked with mock anger. “My place is yours. Almost everything I have is yours too. I could never turn you away.”
