Chapter Fifty Three
Daykan put his finger to his lips in a ‘shhhh’ motion and walked to the kitchen.
Zekell followed behind.
Daykan sighed, folded his arms and leaned against the kitchen island.
Zekell sat on a kitchen stool and rested his arms on the island.
“Aren’t you going to say something?” Zekell gently pressed with a raised brow.
“Things are just starting out and it’s going so well. I don’t want to ruin that.”
“Day, you have to tell her eventually. I’m sure she’ll understand.”
“She might think of me as some kind of monster. I don’t want her to be scared of me. But I guess I’ll understand...
