Alina sat at her desk, in her hand was a small folded note. It was meant only for Sage.

In it, she had confessed something she had never said out loud. That she thought she might be falling for him even though she knew it was wrong.

She couldn't stop thinking about him and the way he fought that rogue. No one had ever stood up for her like that before, not even her own father. 

She had wanted to give the note to him the other day. Along with the letter she'd written to Talia but she couldn't bring herself to do it.
