Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Pirel quickly got home. He owned a high-ceilinged three-room apartment that was modernly renovated and chicly furnished. The man went into the spacious hallway and hung his coat in the closet. The doctor brought the documents into his office, and he left to take a shower and have dinner. The clock was long past midnight, but he didn't care. Pirel wanted to sit down at both cards as soon as possible and examine each of them. The man made himself some coffee and took some sweet rolls to have dinner in his study. He sat down at the table, put his legs on a small chair next to him, put the cup and plate on the table, and he took card number 5132. This document belongs to a man of forty-three years old, he was admitted to the hospital with an ordinary psychosis. Previously, the man had already been treated with tranquilizers, so his next visit is not surprising. Pirel opened the psychiatric appointment records.

“September 5: The patient completed the first course of tranquilizers. There is no trembling of the hands, unwillingness to sit still, apathy, makes contact, talkative.

Recommendations: write out after a fixing course of tranquilizers.

Dr. Krolov A.I.

Pirel immediately remembered this doctor, his professionalism, and was completely confident in his words, the man opened the recording of the next session.

September 11: An unscheduled session was held. The patient suddenly showed signs of paranoia and schizophrenia. There is a trembling of hands, constantly looking around, wants to run away and take cover so that he is not found. In his words: He will find me even in hell when I die. He will still come. I shouldn't have looked into his eyes.

Recommendations: prescribe a sedative, tranquilizers, transfer to an isolation room.

Dr. Krolov A.I.

- What a sharp change, - Pirel put down the map and took a cup of coffee, - What did he do with it?

The doctor took the card of patient 4505. He opened the prescription sheet and counted down the days to look at the preparations for September 11th. The man looked at the names and exhaled noisily. The drugs prescribed that day, even in very large doses, would not have caused hallucinations.

- Someone is lying, - Pirel put down the card and sat up straight, - He is hiding something.

The man looked at the name of the nurse who gave the drugs that day. It's only five o'clock in the morning. Calling the employee is too early, so you should go to rest and go to work later. Pirel went into the bedroom and lay down on the bed. Eyes instantly closed from fatigue. The doctor fell asleep, wrapped in a soft warm blanket.

And again, the isolation room in which the sessions are held. Pirel looked around the room and noticed that there was no one besides him.

- Where is Dino? The man smiled skeptically.

There was a squeak in the isolation ward, the doors slowly opened, and in the opening stood a man in a gray suit, "Pirel V.I."

"Damn it," the doctor at the table grunted. - Am I dreaming of myself? He chuckled and put his head down on the table.

- What worries you? - Entered sat down at the table and put the documents.

- Nothing bothers - Pirel looked up and saw Dino. The boy again held the hammer in his hand.

- You didn't listen to me? Why are you trying to find out? He frowned and slammed the table.

“I want to help him, bring you back,” the doctor leaned back in his chair. Of course he lied. The man really wanted to help the guy, but was not going to return Dino.

- Blatant lies. You will be punished for it, - Dino grinned and took out a lighter. He picked up card 5132 from the table and set fire to the papers.

- How can I get you back? Pirel surrendered.

- Shock therapy, - the guy licked his lips, - But it will be very painful.

The man raised an eyebrow in surprise and began to choke. He opened his eyes and there was smoke all around. At first, the doctor considered this a continuation of a dream, but then he came to his senses and realized that there was a real fire in the apartment. Pirel got up and quickly walked around the apartment in search of a source of fire. The chair in the office was already burning down, the burning skin left a very unpleasant smell, as if a person was being burned alive. The flames spread to the closet, leaving the rest of the room untouched. The man grabbed the documents from the table and tossed them onto the couch. Burnt cards will be hard to recover, even for the head physician. The doctor opened a closet in the corridor and took a fire extinguisher. Once upon a time, he changed fire extinguishers in a hospital and bought an extra one by mistake. The man kept it for himself and was now insanely happy about it. He put out the fire and sank wearily to the floor.

- Good morning, it's called, - Pirel exhaled noisily.

He began looking around the chair and found the lighter that Dino was holding in his sleep.

- No, it's not funny anymore, - the doctor took the lighter with him and went to get ready for work.

At the hospital, the man was met by police and a nurse. He looked at them dumbfounded, but controlled himself. No matter how hard it was for him, he always got ready quickly and could solve any problem. That is why he was able to achieve a high position.

- What happened? - Pirel went to his office and let all the aforementioned people go there.

“Our patient has died,” the nurse said coldly.

- Which? - the man sat down at the table and took out the necessary papers for registration of death in the hospital.
