Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Hearing the man's family name was Harris, Frank came over immediately.

"Harris ......" How should I address him, Frank thought in his mind. Since now he was wearing a military uniform. How about Major Harris ......

When Frank stretched out his hands and thought about the address, Adam was patient, but Luke, who was on the side, could not stand Frank's hemming and hawing and opened his mouth to say, "Boss, it could be Old Fifth." After saying that, Luke's eyes were slightly red. The strong man in front of his captain, finally could not control his emotions.

Adam patted Frank's shoulder and said with a serious expression, "It's too early to draw any conclusions before there is definite evidence."

Adam looked at Emily, lowered his head slightly and said, "Forensic Miller, please, I want to confirm the identity of this corpse."

"Boss, she ......"

"Luke!" Adam's expression was cold, and the whole person exuded a pressurized aura. The officer's temperament was revealed, "Apologize immediately!"

"This is an order!"

Luke's plucked up courage instantly deflated and turned to Emily, although reluctantly, he still looked at her, bowed his head and gritted his teeth, "I'm sorry! Please help my comrades!"

Emily had seen too many scenes of soldiers parting and understood the feelings between them. However, as Adam said, it was disrespectful to make any judgment on the corpse before there was forensic evidence.

"I want to see the condition of the corpse first." Emily ignored Luke, watched Adam finish and turned his head to Frank, "Officer Brown, where is the corpse?"

Frank, somewhat chagrined, hung his head and said, "This way."

Emily followed Frank, and her voice was low, "Call him Captain Harris."

Frank was enlightened and turned his head to call out to someone, but he was kicked by Emily. He staggered, and almost fell, and then continued to walk as if nothing had happened. The two people's every move naturally did not escape Adam's eyes. Combined with what happened before, Adam must admit that this woman provoked his interest.

At this time, Adam was like a lion who saw his preferred prey, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Seeing the body, Emily frowned slightly.

The body was wrapped in a black luggage bag, and the edge of the bag was somewhat ruptured. It must be the reason for long-term immersion in the water. A hand stretched out from the rupture and wrapped in camouflage clothing which was indeed worn by active duty soldiers.

Emily squatted. The stench was overwhelming, but she seemed not to smell it. Her eyes did not let go of every part of the black bag. For the dead, every detail could be the key to his testifying against the killer.

The breeze was blowing, and the stench of the corpse was even more stomach-churning. Even Luke, who was used to seeing life and death, could not help but cover his nose, so seeing Emily like this, he barely had a trace of recognition in his heart.

Emily unzipped the luggage bag, but before pulling it open, she turned her head to the people behind, "Officer Brown, I'll do the rest. You guys go around and see if you can find any useful physical evidence."

Frank nodded and covered his nose and said, "Emily, then here's on you." After saying that, Frank led the people to walk away in a hurry.

Emily swept a glance at Adam and Luke who still did not leave, did not say much, and directly zipped up.

Luke's face was pale and painful, and his stomach had started to regurgitate. The corners of Emily's mouth curved slightly, and then unzipped all the zippers of the luggage bag. The whole corpse appeared, and the stench was even more unpleasant.

"Yuck!"

Luke finally could no longer hold back, and vomited out.
