"Morning mum." Vina said emerging out of her room.

Mrs. Derrick who was arranging some files in her bag turned back.

"Hey you're ready for school." Mrs. Derrick said.

"Yes am in fact am on my way." Vina said and tried to open the door but it was locked.

"Mom?" Vina said turning back slowly.

"What?" Mrs. Derrick asked.

"The door is locked." Vina said.

"Well am taking you to school today not the speed maniac who picked you up yesterday." Mrs. Derrick said.
