Vinas - [P.O.V]

The sight in front of me was horrific.

I could not take my eyes off either.

Lycan never failed to surprise me.

"Please, stop hurting these innocent people." Daniel begged and I nodded a yes towards Lycan.

"Innocent?" He asked.

"None of these people are innocent, and I am only just starting, calm down and watch the show unfold." Lycan said amusingly.

I stare in bizarre whilst my eyes stay concentrated on the beta who just lost his life because he refused to tell what he knew about the Halo of Athena.

Daniel has been crying ever since and I know what that means, because he has never been so sorrowful like this before.

"Bring in the councilmen." Alpha Lycan says as he stares back at me and I stare at him in shock.

He had the council men too? Wow!

"You see Vina, if the beta can't talk then the councilmen who were the closest to your father will tell me everything I need to know." Alpha Lycan says as the elders of my pack got restrained by the witch’s chain.

"Now, I am sure you heard how your beta screamed to lose his life, you three are too old to suffer that much but I don't mind." He says before he looks at me.

"Strip these old men naked." Lycan commands and the witch by the side enchants causing the council men clothes to burn off - of their bodies.

I closed my eyes as the disgrace and sight was something I wanted to avoid.

"Lycan! Please don't let this happen!" I cried begging him as I placed my head over the table with my eyes closed.

My mate had to be the devil.

Then I felt a hand raising my chin up.

He slowly looks into my teary eyes as he uses his finger to clean my tears off.

I could hear his wolf's heartbeat.

I could tell that he wasn't okay with what he was doing but why was still doing what his heart was not settled with.

"Watch me Vina, I want you to hate me for doing what is right and then love me." He said to me and I was beginning to wonder if this dude was not a psychopath.

"Lycan! I will crumble you!" I said swearing without thinking to him as all I could see was fire burning from the inside of me.

He grabs the balls of the councilmen breaking it and the remaining two panicked in fear as they started crying out bitterly.

The first councilman falls to the ground.

"I just needed a good example, now I don't love drama, just tell me where the Halo is!?" He asked in return as he started dragging his claws over the next old man's body who was shivering in fear.

"Okay wait, I know what you want and where to find it?" I said to Lycan as he raised his hand wanting to slash the man.

He turns to look at me in excitement.

"Good Vina! Now that means I don't need these old useless men." He says to me as he uses his claws to slit off their throats and they fall dead.

I stared in shock.

I thought saying I knew something was going to save their lives... How can an Alpha so handsome, so huge with a deep sexy voice be nothing else but Satan?

"No, she doesn't know anything, please don't hurt her, I will tell you what you need to know, I will tell you everything." Daniel cries from where he was restrained.

"Oh, so you know something?" Lycan asked, taking a step towards him.

"Now speak!" Lycan commands without wasting anymore of his evil time.

"It's me, I am Halo." He says as we hear a helicopter sound only for Lycan to be shot severally with wolfsbane.

A round black ball enters the room and Lycan turns to look at me before he jumps, picking the grenade thrown in and covering it into himself.

I was released as the explosion hit me and the rogues towards the wall hardly.

I raised my head from the floor as all I saw was smoke and red lights of men in black uniforms carrying Daniel upwards into the ceiling with a ringing sound in my ears.

Lycan gave his life to save me?

I was surprised by what he did.

But then I see his body frame in the smoke as he stands upright.

He's indestructible.

I quickly got up from the floor and crawled towards the door.

"We are under attack funnily and they dared to attack my pack? Hahaha! Awooo!" Alpha Lycan howls with so much rage and anger in his voice.

The mansion begins to shake.

I rushed through the dungeon walkway till I was excited from the building seeing where all the Benz and Highlanders were packed as the ground breaks open with dead rogues submerging from the ground.

I could see the rogues climbing the buildings as gunshots were fired about.

I crawled through the cars till my eyes finally met where the car keys were.

I got anyone pressing it towards the cars to see if any of the car’s beeps as my heart was pounding speedily.

A dead rogue werewolf spots me and rushes towards me just before Lycan howls again and the wolf diverted heading elsewhere.

"Mate! Where are you?" Lycan's mind links with me for the first time.

I tried not to believe that happened.

I pressed the car key again without saying a word and one of the sports cars beeped.

"Oh really? You are in the car pack." He mind-links as I got into the car starting the car engine while I saw the chopper carrying Daniel heading away from the Lycan's mansion.

I turned on the car engine revising from the pack as from behind me was my Hefty handsome looking Lycan breathing out as he looked at the sports car I was inside.

"Damn you Lycan!" I said as I pressed on to accelerate, speeding off as fast as I could, nothing was going to stop me.

"Lock the gates!" I hear a rogue say loudly but then hahaha! That was not going to stop this moving engine at all.

I used the car to bash the gates open as I continued speeding off and away from the mansion and through the mirrors… I looked to see Lycan standing and staring.

He was sad.

I wondered what he was thinking of doing.

I checked the car's mirror again to see him breaking off into flying bats.

Oh no! Please tell me he is not a hybrid!

The bats flew past my car and headed up into the air towards the helicopter carrying Daniel as the men on the plane did their best in trying to escape the bats while shooting terribly at them.

Those men had to be very skilled.

My jaw opens in shock.

Alpha Lycan was stronger than I ever thought or imagined in my life.

The bats form a fist fighting the men and then it forms his hand which grabs the blades of the chopper breaking it.

The helicopter began to fall towards the road I was driving on and I looked to see that the bats had carried Daniel out of the chopper to the mansion.

"Boom!" The helicopter exploded but I was a good driver... And I meant, a witch driver.

I drove through the fire of the explosion.

"Vina! You're next!" He mind-links me.

I increased my car's speed to its highest.

I could hear the sound of his feet.

Was it weird that I was so wet for him right now?

How close he was getting to me.

He's coming for me… I closed my eyes in fear.

Would I lose this race to him?

Thoughts began to rush through my head.

"No! I can't let him get me."

I began to Enchant.

A portal began to appear in front of me.

I knew I was never enchanted by that.

Going through a portal was a big deal for me.

But I think now… it's totally worth the trip.
