Edwin led me to a spot not far from the crowd, still holding my hand. I could feel my heart beating fast. He turned to face me but didn't let go of my hand.

Edwin - Are you okay?

Nikki - Yeah, thanks for helping me. But why did you tell them I'm your girlfriend when I'm not?

Edwin - Officially, maybe you're not, but remember what I told you. - I nodded.
