We entered the house and headed to the table. Edwin's parents were already there, along with Joan. Edwin pulled out the chair for me, and I took my seat as he pushed it in. He sat beside me, and we began to eat.

Matt: Joan, I hope I'm not bothering you, but can you help out here with the pack when you're not busy with Nikki?

Joan: Of course not. I'd be happy to help.

Lisa: Love, Joseph is coming back from his trip tomorrow.

Matt: That's great! Did you hear that, Nikki? Your dad is coming back tomorrow.

Nikki: Yes, that's what Joan told me.
