"Don't just stand there, Becca. Help set up the table for dinner" mom said when I walk back into the kitchen.

Colin had come in and he grinned at me in which I go to hug him. He's surprised at my display of affection for him but I was just feeling giddy at the moment. Mom looks shocked too but I swear I can see her eyes twinkle with tears of joy.

Daniel comes rushing in, a jump in his steps, Jacob behind him and he carried Bridget in his arms. God! Something about this whole scene was making my heart swell with pride, with love for Jacob....
