I'm distracted from staring at Becca when my phone vibrates in my pants. Letting out a grunt, I reach out to get the gadget. Seating by the fireplace has also helped me loosen up a bit because I was having a little bit of trouble with the cold too.
Claudia's name flashes on my screen when I successfully retrieve it. I don't get why she's calling me so often for the last two days. Yes, I told her I was at my dad's but it's like she doesn't believe me. I want to tell her where I am, but if I do, there's no doubt she'd come here...
