It's like a fucking blizzard by the time I get to the mountain. The peak where Becca and I stood yesterday. There was no trace of her or anything in sight at all. My hands fly to my mouth, breathing into my hand. Shit! I ran out of there without thinking, now I don't have on any gloves or scarf. I do a little sprint to a little cottage that I see abandoned by the top of the mountain and I'm glad when I see an old couple in it, seated close together, their hands entwined as they watched a series on a flat-screen.
