The night was filled with a melodious, almost a sedative sound as the rain continued to hammer lightly against the windows for hours. I enjoyed the rain, the way it allowed the surroundings to feel private, mysterious, like only specific moments counted and all else could evaporate. It was one of those evenings tonight.
