Then I cut the call, pushing Bestian away with a laugh and trying to wipe my mouth with a witty face. 

“Let’s pretend we didn’t kiss,” I chuckled. “It was just for show.” 

Bestian frowned as I said this. His eyes darkened with disappointment. 

We sat opposite each other for almost an hour without saying anything, just blushing and stealing glances at each other.
