Cliff’s POV

In the past few days, I have noticed that Emery has been laughing more often, which made me happy. Who would have imagined her laughing right? Her strong personality often shows how much she was devastated by the world in which she lived.

After Emery ate all the french fries we bought, we did not go back inside the shopping mall. We decided to go to the park nearby because she does not want to come back home yet. Fortunately, only a few people were staying here, unlike inside the mall.

Emery sat on the grass and so I also sat beside her....
